Happy Easter from Davis Photography

I have had so much fun with all of the "Bunny Sessions" and I am so glad I was able to do that this year.  However, I did just want to take a moment on this Easter night and say how blessed I am that my Savior became flesh so that I could be made whole.

For Jesus to have chosen this...
for me is awe-inspiring.

And what a celebration it was when He triumphed over this...

so that we all might have life more abundantly.

Happy Easter!

[All photos are from the South Cleveland Church of God Easter Production. Email me if you want church service times! We would love to have you!]

At Last...

Finally I tortured my own children got an opportunity to take some Easter Bunny pictures of my own two!  My original bunny (and my back-up) wanted to remain anonymous, but today's bunny reveled in her character!  Thanks, Natalie, for doing this for me!  We had so much fun being silly and the hopping ones absolutely crack me up.

All Boy

Today I had a great time taking pictures of Knox.  He is so adorable with that full head of blond hair and is so imaginative!  He spotted something in the creek and kept telling me about the "croaks" that lived in there.  We  never did figure out what he was talking about, but he was sure excited about them!  :)  It was a beautiful afternoon, warm, and a great day to take some pictures outside (even if the Easter Bunny was MIA).  Thanks, Margaret, and I hope you enjoy his shots.  He is a sweet boy.

Hunting a Bunny

This (formerly) sunny Sunday found the Easter bunny running around with our little buddy, Hunter. I am telling you, this little fellow is so vocal and articulate. I really enjoyed talking to him and my little talker, Kelsey, had a ball playing with him both during and after our session. Becky, thanks so much for bringing him. We had a great time and I hope you all are very happy with your sweet pictures of your sweet boy. :)

Little Bunny Foo-Foo... and Lillimarie!!!

Last Easter session of my Saturday was with my little friend, Lillimarie. I got to know this sweet family at Christmas this year and I was so happy to get to take Easter Bunny pictures of little Lillimarie. It is so neat to see kids at different intervals as they grow. At Christmas her pictures are of just a little tiny girl, toddling around. She is already a speed-runner. :) We had a great time (even with the mix-up!) and I am glad I got to spend time with them.

Birthday Girls and Easter Bunnies...

How much fun I had with my third session of the day with the little ladies, Savannah and Kindel. These are honestly two of the sweetest sisters I have ever met. They are almost the exact same ages as my two (almost to the month!) and so it was great fun to watch sisters interact with each other that reminded me of my own. Their little bunny dresses were precious in their Easter session. We did a full session so that we could take birthday pictures of them for the 4th and 6th birthdays! Christy, it was so awesome to meet you and the girls (and Grandma!) and I am so excited about your pictures.

Many, Many Martins...

My second session this Saturday was with the Martin family. We had a great time enjoying the beautiful sun and getting some awesome pictures. These guys enjoyed each other's company so much and I had a lot of fun hanging out with them. The little cousins were simply adorable. We did a full session and so took lots of family shots, then also did the Easter Bunny pictures. Thanks for coming, guys, and I hope you love your pictures.

Brave Michael

My first Easter Session of the day went... swimmingly. :) It was still pretty muddy so Mr. Bunny got a little muddy. And Michael was terrified a wee bit nervous around the bunny. Even still, we got some really cute pictures and Michael was very brave. He was also very proud of himself once the whole experience was over. Thanks Traci, for bringing him and for being so patient. We had a great time!

Hippity-Hop!!! Now Booking the Coolest Easter Sessions EVER!!!

These are not your Mama's Easter Bunny Pictures! Davis Photography is offering something brand new and totally different... Easter pictures in the great outdoors with the Easter Bunny!

Imagine with me for a moment: Not the boring, traditional, your kid sitting on the Easter Bunny's lap in the mall--nope, toss that one out the window! Instead, picture your child being pushed in the swing by the Easter Bunny... chasing the Easter Bunny through the field... holding hands walked across the bridge with the Easter Bunny... sitting on the creek bank, relaxing with the Easter Bunny... much more exciting, huh? You can have those pictures!

Easter Sessions are scheduled for April 2 from 4-7, and *April 4 from 10-4. **

*Saturday Full Sessions time slots are gone. I have room for two more mini-Easter sessions at 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM.
**Just added, by popular demand: Sunday, April 5- Sessions available from 3:30-5:30. (1-3:30 is full.)

You have two options for your session:
A full session for $40 in which we will take about 100-150 pictures and you can pick 25 4x6's for an album
OR
A special mini-Easter session which will be $25 and will include around 40 pictures to choose from with a 5x7, an 8x10, and 8 wallets.

Email athenadavisphotography@yahoo.com or call 284.3755 quickly to take advantage of this awesome photography opportunity. I expect that these will fill up quickly, since I had one booked before I even scheduled the sessions! :)

Keep checking back. I will post some example pictures as soon as my children are over their various illnesses!

*In case of foul weather (which I am praying hard against even as I write, I will have to reschedule the Saturday pictures for April 10 (Good Friday) morning and possibly April 11.

Three Sweet Sibs

I had so much fun with these three sweet siblings! They did a great job for the pictures and the boys were so funny. We all almost laughed ourselves silly with the purse I had to put on my head to get MC to laugh. And remember, Grammy, what happens in the studio STAYS in the studio!!!
