Hey busy people!!! I have something special to offer you! If you had a photography session prior to September, 2010, and have not placed an order from those proofs, give me a call or shoot me an email! I am going to give you a free 8x10 with any reorder of $20 or more that is placed before Thanksgiving. Any reorder that is $75 or more comes with a free 16x20. I know how easy it is to get busy and just not take the time to decide what you want to order. Hopefully this will provide a little incentive! Copplers in the Fall

Even though I was nearly late getting to the session and we had a pony who really wanted to help taking the pictures, the session with the Coppler family went wonderfully. Allison and Andrew (and Jamison) and Phillip and Bambi go to church with us and Andrew and Phillip's parents joined them for this special extended family session. I have known and loved Allison (or Ms. Alli, as she is known by my children) for years because she is a wonderful teacher for our Little Sweethearts at church and we do Royal Family Ministries events together. Jamison is in Kraig's Royal Rangers group at church as well. AAAANND, Ms. Bambi was Kelsey's Sunday School teacher for a while before Kelsey moved up. Kelsey just loooved Ms. Bambi too! Jamison is one of my favorite little guys. He wears sunglasses all the time (and I kind of wish we had done a picture of him in them for this session!) and is such a talker! These guys are a great family and I am so glad we got to take some pictures yesterday.

The Last Shots of Just Three Annis's!!!

Last year about this time, on a colder afternoon with less sun, the Annis family came over for some fall pictures. I just loved little Delaney from the start, and this time, she was able to tell me that she felt the same. :) I was taking a picture of mom and dad and Delaney leaned over and whispered, "I love you." The family is about to grow by one when little "Jimmy George" comes on the scene either on or sometime around December 25 (yeah, the actual due date, though the actual name is not Jimmy George-- that's just Delaney's name for him). It was great this time to have Mallory's parents join us as well. Here are a couple of my favorites from their session. Thanks, Mallory! Had a great time!

These Girls Like to Play in the DIRT!

I have started doing more and more team pictures, it seems. I guess my athleticism and competitive nature make me a natural for sports team photography. (HA! If you know me well, you know how ludicrous that statement really is. Not only am I one of the least athletic people you could meet, I have nary a competitive bone in my body. I am the one who, after a game is saying, "Well, guys, there's always another one, right?") Anyway, these gals are the CMS Softball Team and after a great season, they had a beautiful day for pictures.

November Starts Forever...

Today was the first time I had met Lauren and John in person. I am shooting their wedding in November, just a little over a month from now. Lauren's cousin, Edie (adorable Sloane's mom), referred Lauren to me and I really do appreciate it. They are just the nicest people and really so courteous and respectful of each other. I thoroughly enjoyed spending this beautiful October afternoon with them and I am really, really looking forward to getting to take part in their special day in November. Hope you guys like your sneak peak!

Beautiful Inside and Out

I'll tell you what, I have photographed some girls lately who can sure rock a pair of cowgirl boots! :) Laura came out to my house today with her wonderful (and apparently quite patient, to have taught kindergartners for her entire career!!!) mom to do some Sweet Sixteen pictures. This girl is just adorable with such a warm smile and sweet spirit... I was just thrilled to meet her and spend a little time with her. Thanks SO much to Taylor, Laura's best friend since they were tiny, for referring her.

Chasing the Haney's....

It started to get really cold outside today, but the smiles from this little guy had a strange way of warming my heart. :) (If only it could have also warmed my fingers!) The Haney family came over this afternoon for a family session and some adorable shots of Chase. These guys were just so obviously in love with each other-- all three of them! David and Misty are clearly such great parents who make such a great couple. And Chase... oh my. That adorable boy made me work so hard was so full of energy and ended up taking the absolute best pictures! I had a ball with these guys today. Misty, thanks so much for calling and I hope you all enjoy your pictures. (And thanks to Tammy Presswood for referring them to me!)

Sweet Sloane-Girl

Nowhere is the swift passage of time more evident than in photographing children! I can hardly believe how much Sloane has grown up in the three years I have been taking her picture! She was an adorable three year old cowgirl, a beautiful preschooler, and now a gorgeous grown-up kindergartner! I always have such fun taking her pictures and her mom (who is also my hair stylist) just amazes me every time I am around her with her sweet smile and beautiful spirit. Sloane, you are a beautiful child, inside and out! I hope you have a wonderful year in kindergarten!

80's, Baby?

It is apparently the season of parties! The same day of Sydney's Princess Party, we had a SURPRISE 80's Fortieth Birthday Party for her daddy, Chris! He was very surprised and we all had such a great time dressing up! Happy 40th, Chris? Keep on keepin' it real. :)

You know how special it is when your best friend's kids become your kids' best friends? This precious girl is the result of one of those situations. Jennifer and Chris have been our best friends for almost ten years, even though they have lived in Atlanta for roughly half of that time. They came up to Cleveland for Sydney's fifth birthday party and Jennifer asked me to take pictures of the party. We did this about two years ago, for Alivia's princess party as well. These girls had a BALL becoming princesses at The Princess Parlor downtown. Happy Fifth, Sydney... the Davis family loves you!!!

Two Looks Good on Cameron!

I was really excited when this adorably cute and funny little guy's mom asked me if I could take pictures at his 2nd Birthday Party. I have really enjoyed getting to know his mom, Jessica, and hanging out with he and his adorable sister, Jaylee. His daddy, Jay, is a bit of a legend in his own time (his own mind?). :) In all seriousness, this family is a real blessing to our church and I have been lucky enough to have gotten to photograph them at Christmas as well. Jessica did an awesome job planning his Florida Gators party, all the way down to the drink colors! Happy Birthday, sweet Cameron! You are one good-looking two year old!
