Lazy Sunday Afternoon

I got to spend a pleasant Sunday afternoon with Kendra and her sweet mom, doing Kendra's senior session. This girl has a beautiful personality to match her beautiful appearance! We had a great time setting up lots of different pictures in lots of different outfits! :) Kendra was nice enough to let me experiment with some different angles and shots... thanks, Kendra! You guys were so sweet and I had lots of fun.

Ankita, Future Vet and Horse Lover!

The skies cleared up Saturday afternoon just in time for some gorgeous pastoral pictures (no pun intended) of Ankita! She was so excited that the horses were staying at our place for a while and she got some great pictures with them. (Brother was a big help with the horse-sitting, as well.) I had so much fun getting to know Ankita and her sweet disposition. Thanks for a fun session!

A Little Rain Couldn't Dampen This Fun!

This Saturday morning session brought with it a little bit of rain and a lot of enthusiasm! Savannah is one of those people who has a hard time taking a picture with a solemn face... she can't quit smiling! Since I have her in class, I expected her boundless energy and fun. We had a great time creating her awesome senior pictures! Thanks, Savannah. Mom, you were pretty great too (even if you two do have entirely opposite opinions!). :)

Graduation Countdown!

Steven took some really great pictures a few weeks ago. I had Steven in class two years ago as a sophomore and have gotten to have him again as a senior. It's so much fun to watch my students grow up, but kind of sad to see them move on. I am grateful for the times I get to capture the passsage of time for their parents with photography.

Spring Skiing in Utah

Everyone knows that a ski trip is just an excuse to take cool pictures, right? As always, I had to lug my heavy camera on the slopes every day just so as not to miss the perfect shot. Emma loved taking a break from skiing and hamming it up while Kelsey got some sweet birthday shots down at the condo. There is no better backdrop than the beautiful snow-covered mountains of Alta!

Three Sweet Sibs

I had so much fun with these three sweet siblings! They did a great job for the pictures and the boys were so funny. We all almost laughed ourselves silly with the purse I had to put on my head to get MC to laugh. And remember, Grammy, what happens in the studio STAYS in the studio!!!

He is Risen

Easter sessions with my two went quite well. There were several funny pictures, and a few really good ones. I just love the hands folded pictures, I think they are so sweet. We had to do these early since we were out of town on Easter, but they were really good for the pictures.
