A Fisherman and His Mom

Talk about rotten luck!  Tammy and Matthew have rescheduled their session at least three times due to bad weather.  We thought today was going to be more of the same, but thankfully the thunder and rain rolled through about half an hour before we started.   I am excited that we got some great shots of them together and of just Matthew.  Matthew, hope you catch "the big one" this summer in Florida!  :)

Landon's First

I got to meet Landon and his family a month or so ago during my Easter sessions.  He was just the sweetest little fellow and so I was so excited when his mom called to ask if I would take his one year pictures!  As you can see from his toothy grins, this little guy is a joy to be around.  (However, when it comes cake-eating time, it's all business!)  What a doll.   Thanks Martin family, for allowing me to take part in another special occasion!  :)

Sweet Baby Elijah

This afternoon I got to spend some time with three of my favorite little people and one of my favorite big people!  :)  Nicole brought Elijah over for his dedication pictures and Seth and Sophia came along so that we could get some cute sibling shots.  I had a great time with all of them.  Elijah did not have very many smiles, but he is such a cutie even with a solemn face.  I can't wait to see all that God has in store for this precious family and this sweet baby.

Graduation Day

Matt and his mom, Tammy, have been some of my number #1 clients and fans this past year.  So when Tammy called me unexpectedly a few days before, wondering if I could work in a fast session on Friday afternoon just before graduation, I was more than happy to oblige.   Matt and his cousin Taylor and families stopped by on their way to their last event at Walker Valley, their graduation.  I enjoyed taking these pictures and being part of this proud moment in their lives, just as I have enjoyed helping document other big occasions this year for them in senior pictures and prom session.  Congratulations, Matt and Taylor!!!

Happy Mother's Day from Davis Photography

Everyone knows that moms make the world go round, and I just want to say Happy Mother's Day to all of you moms out there!  We might not say it much, but you are loved and appreciated!!!

Classy Crew

Cleveland's second prom session of the afternoon for me was at Bentley Park.  Several of my students met there, but their limo was running a little slow and we ended up, instead of with an hour and a half, with only 25 minutes to do an entire session.  Oh well.  We hurried and hopefully they ended up with a decent amount of pictures.  Quite a good-looking group, I must say!

Headed to the Seaside...

Cleveland's Prom, Seaside Soiree, was this past Saturday.  I have been very remiss in posting images for the two sessions I was able to fit in on Saturday in between decorating and chaperoning the prom.  First I met some of my students over at a beautiful estate for some quick pictures.  Unfortunately, we were dodging raindrops and in a race against the clock, so we were not able to take as much of a variety of pics as I would have liked.  However, it was fun and these guys were SO handsome and beautiful!  I hope you all went on to have an awesome evening at prom.
