They'll Go So Far From This Day...

So... about a month ago, I photographed this sweet family. While they were here, they asked if I would be willing to photograph their wedding. We were supposed to be out of town that weekend but, quite honestly, I had such a great time doing their session that I couldn't say no. SO, we delayed our trip until Saturday morning and I spent a rainy, windy Friday night in Riceville photographing their wedding. It was especially cool because part of the wedding party was another family I have done a session for! Thanks Kevin and Sheree. I hope you guys like your pics and I wish you all the blessings in the world! :)

A Hint of Fall...

During my insane headache those weeks this summer, I had to cancel Erika's Sweet Sixteen session. We rescheduled it for today, so they ended up with more a fall feel to them than a summer look. However, I think Erika's coloring is SO suited to these pictures. Her eyes are beautiful and I just love the colors she wore. Fall was certainly in the air this evening. Last summer I photographed she and her many brothers, which was a lot more hectic than today, huh, Erika? :) I had a great time with you today, Erika, and I hope you like your shots.

Go Raiders!!!

One thing I have been staying busy with in the past few weeks is team pictures. I have gotten to shoot photograph the Cleveland High Dance Team and JV and Freshman Volleyball teams. We just added Varsity volleyball this week. GO BLUE!

Windows to the Soul

Today was such a pleasant, easy session with Hannah. This girl has eyes to die for and my only problem is that I kept having to make myself take some shots that weren't close-ups! We had a great afternoon of photography and I really enjoyed getting to know you guys. Thanks to Marlyss for referring them to me! Enjoy your sneak peak! Sorry it took a couple of days to get them up!

The Nearest Thing to Heaven...

And just how precious IS THIS fluffy butt tutu from PiggyTails???

What a privilege I had today! I got to take pictures of sweet baby Maggie. She is almost four weeks old and she sure was a precious innocent darling! Traci had planned to come for maternity pictures but life went a little crazy on her and we never got them done. That's okay, though, because this girl is way cuter than any belly would have been! :) Maggie was just a doll and Michael was his usual adorable self. You might remember Michael's massive phobia of slight nervousness around the Easter bunny last spring... or the family Christmas session last year. I even did a session with their extended family a year and a half ago. I am so blessed to have such wonderful repeat clients. Thanks again, Traci, and I can't wait for the matching Christmas outfits!!!

My Whole Life, My Whole World...

And my second late posting... the other daughter... Emma.

Emma is so much like me it scares me sometimes. This child can be so reflective and gentle one moment and so crazy stubborn the next! I did not imagine it was possible to be so proud of your own, but every time I see her interact with her friends or read notes from her teacher, I just get so proud it gives me goose bumps. She is a precocious little six year old and I just feel so lucky to be her mommy. Emma, you were the one who made me a mom, and that title has come to be one I adore more than almost any other. I can't wait to watch you grow into a beautiful, Christian young lady. That day in 2003 when you were born... And I Thought I Loved You Then!

"Staying Back to Watch Her Shine"

I am soooooo late getting these up! What is it they say? The cobbler's wife has no shoes? That's us, I guess. I took over a month to even take my children's bday pics, then I take five months to post them. Oh well.

My sweet, sweet Kelsey... she has completed our family in every way in her four short years on earth. She and Emma are as close as any best friends, she is her Mommy's girl (and heaven knows Mommy needs someone in her corner!), and she loves to trail around after Daddy. This child is so much fun and she does not have an off button. Kelsey, Mommy just plain adores you and looks forward to so many more birthdays and a lifetime with you!!! I have the best days with you.
