How 'Bout Them Cowgirls?

I am convinced there is no prettier picture than a little cowgirl!!! Little S. came over today to get some cowgirl pictures made and boy, did we have a ball. I just love to listen to her talk and see her silly smiles. Her Mommy cuts my hair (Edie at Hair Studio over by Jordan's-- go see her! She does an awesome job!) and she had seen some of the Mynes pics and wanted to bring S. to get some done. (Thanks Jennifer!) We had such a good time hamming it up. S. even got bareback on a horse for a couple! Thanks, Edie, it was a lot of fun. She is a doll.

Five Years???

It blows my mind, but my Emma was born FIVE YEARS AGO (in May). It is two months late, but I finally finished her birthday pictures. She is SUCH an artist and writer right now! That will hopefully serve her well when she goes to kindergarten this week. She is an old pro at having her picture made and most of the pictures are poses of her own making. It cracks me up to hear her tell Kelsey how to stand and what to do with her arms. My problem with Emma now is trying to get her NOT to pose, but rather to look natural! :) My sweet five year old!

Three Going on Thirteen!

Kelsey turned three (in MARCH... when you are busy photographing other peoples' children, sometimes your own get lost in the shuffle!) and I have finally completed her birthday pictures. She has such a funny attitude and it really comes out in her pictures. She is a total ham, but at times you can't get a smile out of her for anything. She smiles, but it is more a painful grimace than a smile! :) She is so into babies right now, real and stuffed! Happy Three, Kelsey!
