As mentioned in the previous post, I spent this weekend in Atlanta with the Mynes family. We went down for Sydney's 3rd birthday and were able to work in a photography session as well. Jennifer's mom was down and had been wanting a session with "her girls". The weekend was wonderful and I, as always, had such a great time with my friend. The girls and our husbands had a good time as well! The photo session went well. Jen's mom has some trouble with her knee, so it took a lot of effort for us to crawl down the riverbank to get to the good backgrounds, but it was worth the effort!!! Enjoy, guys!

Atlanta Sunshine with the Smith's
What a treat I had this weekend! We were able to go to Atlanta and spend the weekend with some of our closest friends and I got to do a couple of really cool photography sessions while we were down there! Jennifer had shown her pictures of Alivia and Sydney to her neighbor, Jennifer, and so she wanted a family photo session when I came down. Eric, Jennifer, Jeremiah, and Cooper were so great to hang out with! The boys are such precious fellows and I really enjoyed getting to Eric and Jennifer. We crawled all around a riverbank and just got messy and had a ball!

September with the Koons
Last Thursday night I spent a couple of hours with the Koons family. I had taken engagement pictures of their daughter and her fiance (who also happened to be one of my first students when I started teaching!) last year. They liked those pictures and wanted to get some of their own. Dylan came too, so we took a few of the whole family and one or two of just Dylan. It was cool and we got some really great pictures (and encountered a really odd ant which Jim has since found out is a red velvet ant!). Here are a few of my favorites...

Last Evenings of Summer...
The Pressley's came over last Tuesday afternoon for a late afternoon session. It is going to get impossible to do these later sessions as our light gets shorter and shorter! These guys go to my church and really have a cool relationship. It's funny to see a family of five kids (including a set of twins) who each have such an individual personality. I had a great time with Jeremy, Erica, Jacob, Timmy, and Tommy. Hope you guys like your pictures!

Cousin Time...
I got a call earlier in the summer from Amy White, who had purchased a gift certificate from the Walker Valley band or baseball auction. (Junelle Khan is so great about supporting Walker Valley-- and me!-- by purchasing gift certificates from Davis Photography for those auctions.) Amy wanted to schedule a time for pictures of her daughter, Kylee, and her nieces, Lexi and Leah. We decided to wait until Kylee was a little older and so this weekend, I went over to Amy's mother-in-law's farm and we did a wonderful "cousin session"! The girls were so beautiful and you could tell that Kylee is just going to adore these two older cousins of hers. I had so much fun with all of them. Enjoy a sneak preview, Amy and Nikki!

More of the Moore's!
This weekend (a WAY busy one!!!) I did a late afternoon session with Shonna Moore and her family. She had seen Debbie Creech's pictures (thanks, Debbie!). We were almost too late in the day for the light but what we ended up with were some absolutely gorgeous sunset pictures! It was a lot of fun. Her three are quite a crew, and her and husband David have their hands FULL! Shonna, hope you enjoy!
