Possibly my favorite part of taking Kelsey's bday pictures was that Emma wanted to take her camera down and take some too. It was so cute to watch them. I guess I had better be careful, she'll be stealing my customers! :)

Her Song is the Slammin' Screen Door...
This is only one month late right on time to celebrate my baby's fourth birthday! I have to be honest and say that it makes me very sad to realize that she is four. Time goes by soooo quickly. Kelsey turned four on March 28 and I just can't say how much she adds to our lives. She is fun-loving, sweet-spirited, and crazy-acting. I am so honored to be her mother and watch the Lord work in her life.

Dance, Dance, Dance till You Drop!
The last few on their way to WV prom came by to take some pictures. I am happy that I got to meet Josh and Haley this afternoon and we took some really fun, really cool pictures. These two were not in a rush and were happy to take any pictures I suggested and they obviously had a great time taking them. I hope prom was lots of fun for you two!

You'll Be the Prince and I'll Be the Princess...
Wow. This group was massive for my third WV prom session! Most of these kids go to my church and I have taken pictures in the past for Tyler, Cierra, Jordan, Jennifer, Aerial, Kylee, Kayla, and Tenielle. While it was certainly a lot of people to work with, this group was so accommodating and courteous. I had fun hanging out with the kids I knew already from church and I enjoyed getting to know the rest of them in a short time! You guys all looked gorgeously beautiful and wickedly handsome and I hope the evening was a special one for each and every one of you! Have a great rest of the school year!

Chase the Glowing Hours with Flying Feet...
My second Walker Valley prom session was with these four beautifully people in orange. I had done Matt's senior pictures in the summer and his mom had pre-booked for the prom session. It was a lot of fun taking some pictures of these two cute couples on their way to prom. I hope you guys had an awesome night!

Love Story
My first Walker Valley prom session this beautiful Saturday was with Jordan and Jennifer. This sweet couple goes to my church and I have been privileged to take their prom pictures in the past as well as some recent senior pictures of Jordan. I am amazed every time I am around them at the way that Christ shines through their obvious love for each other. They are both wonderful witnesses for Him and I am so anxious to watch them grow into adults who live to serve their Savior. You all are the best. I hope you had an amazing evening!

We're Fools Whether We Dance or Not, So We Might as Well Dance!
I hate that these took me so long to upload. Last Saturday I got to spend some time with some kids on their way to the Bradley prom. We took the pictures at Bentley Park and I so enjoyed getting to know all of them and I hope they had an awesome night at the prom. Thanks Denise for calling me, and thanks to Keith Lambert for referring her!

Sweet, One of a Kind Bethany
Bethany is one of the sweetest, most unique people I have ever known. She was in my sophomore honors English class three years ago and she is one of those kids who has always continued to visit my classroom and stay in touch with me. I have also taken her prom pictures for the past several years. I was obviously happy to spend an afternoon hanging out with her, taking her senior pictures, though not as excited about riding in a car with the biggest blindspot ever her car. I have to say that Bethany is a person who makes you feel so at home with her, completely comfortable. I am so happy to have known you, Bethany, and I wish you great things in your future! Good luck!

Daniel's Going to be a Grad!
I was very honored when a friend of mine from church, Marlyss, asked me to take her son's senior pictures. Daniel is a young man who is a hard worker and who is very excited about moving forward in his life. I also enjoyed the opportunity to get some family shots of he and his mom and he and his sister, and even a few of all three of them! Congrats, Daniel! Soon you can call yourself a CHS alum!

Family Ties
Katelyn's mom had referred some new clients to me so they came over this afternoon for a fun family session. This family is Mama Hazel, daughter Lisa, and neice Jeanna. Hanging out with Hazel, Lisa, and Jeanna was a really funny experience (and thankfully they had someone to help them pick their pictures!). It was so great to meet all of you and I would love to see you again sometime! :)

Happy Easter from Davis Photography
I have had so much fun with all of the "Bunny Sessions" and I am so glad I was able to do that this year. However, I did just want to take a moment on this Easter night and say how blessed I am that my Savior became flesh so that I could be made whole.
[All photos are from the South Cleveland Church of God Easter Production. Email me if you want church service times! We would love to have you!]

At Last...
Finally I tortured my own children got an opportunity to take some Easter Bunny pictures of my own two! My original bunny (and my back-up) wanted to remain anonymous, but today's bunny reveled in her character! Thanks, Natalie, for doing this for me! We had so much fun being silly and the hopping ones absolutely crack me up.

Emily, a Beautiful Senior!
Emily and I thought that a forecasted sunny, warm afternoon in April would be a perfect time to take some nice senior pictures. Apparently, April is not what it once was. However, even with the wind and cold, Emily took some beautiful photos. I taught Emily two years ago in my sophomore Honors English class but I don't feel like I really got to know her well until this year in senior AP English. She is such a mature student, an excellent writer, and one of those people you just feel lucky to have known. I know she will be a tremendous success in whatever she becomes and I am excited to see her succeed. The best of luck to you, Emily!!!

God has Brought Them Laughter
Charles and Betsy came over today for a maternity session. They are so thrilled with the promise of their sweet baby, Isaac. They are thrilled to be welcoming him into the world in just about four short weeks. Isaac is a very much loved, much anticipated baby who is truly a miracle from God for this couple. I am so excited that I got to be a small part of his preparation. Hope you love your pictures, guys!
